Don’t Be a Sore Loser… April 15, 2013

The Venezuelan presidential election results are in, and the country is in favor of Nicolas Maduro who held the 50.7% majority of the votes. Even though they have announced Maduro as the winner is opponent is done with him yet.

According to CNN, opposing candidate Henrique Capriles Radonski believes the results are illegitimate and demands a recount. Radonski had this to say on the matter, “I want to tell the candidate of the government: Today you’re the loser and I’m telling you this unequivocally. You are the loser, you and your government,”. Presidents in Argentina, Bolivia, and Cuba have already extending congratulations to Maduro, at the same time the head of a prominent regional body said that he supports the recount, along with America’s own Secetary-General Jose Miguel Insulza.

Honestly Radonski is a sore loser and if this is the way he acts every time he doesn’t get is way, then the Venezuelan shouldn’t want someone like that as their president. A president should act gracefully in ever situation they are in and Radonski doe not seem like he will be able to do that. There are elections that happen all over the world from big presidential elections to grade school elections but just because you lose you shouldn’t demand a recount. It only shows what kind of character the person really has. Radonski just needs to come down and start working on his campaign for his next election and maybe he will grow up and be ready to lead the Venezuelan people.
